...no, I just suspect that someone has told you that the sea level is rising and since you haven't bothered to question their premise. Tell me, are the oceans rising or are the land masses sinking due to tetonic plate shift? Since you only have the land and the sea to measure against one another, how would you know which one was moving if one of em was moving. Then could be sea be rising because the plates are shifting? Perhaps there is no change at all.

...if we accept, for a moment, that the seas are rising, haven't they always been rising or falling? Same as temperatures? We don't live in a static environment. Everything isn't gonna stay the way it was on the day you was born forever and ever. This planet has been uninhabitalbe before and it will be again. Wait and see.
