also, i think most everyone has given up trying to predict the inflection point.

but that doesn't mean it is impossible that it will occur.

a contract with the army to provide service for 1m units at $30/unit would transform wave's prospects. i don't think one can rule it out. even if one cannot rely upon it.

but am i going to research the opportunity further? not at this point. i don't think it's possible to predict the moment someone drops their nib into the ink well.

it is a very sad place to be - to have built the architecture. but not to have the wherewithal to distribute it.

trouble is, if you accept the case that tc improves security and that current security is inadequate, the case in favour of tc seems highly rational.

this makes success seem very reasonable.

and delay illogical.

confronting a different reality is something everyone struggles with.

for me, demand is the deus ex machina. having a sensible explanation for why things aren't happening helps me maintain some level of patience/

it isn't the explanation wave offers. but i think it is the best one available and the obvious conclusion.

so you look for reasons that this may change. or you just watch the income statement.
