Investing opportunities? Cleaning supplies! What a mess. the vaults are normally damp. dark, but all that salt water, bad news for old cables... Our utilities here are all underground, have been since built in the 60s... But all of 'em. CATV, Power, telecom all have had or need upgrades, water table is fairly high, winter floods the street /sidewalk boxes... even 'fresh' water invades, corrodes... So salt, sea water speeds it up... Old timers used to have an area they were responsible for, took care of it, now, fewer workers, no time, utilities force overtime rather than hire, so nobody ends up responsible, even the switchrooms, means old proven maintenance procedures are long gone, ignored until stuff fails...

Infrastructure! But will one vendor be more profitable? Doubtful... I bet a lot of scammers show up, too... We once had100s of thousands of 'can-do' guys that could be called in, all that went away with the Bell breakup and beyond...

Are there any investment opportunities in fiber-optic infrastructure?
