Indeed it shows no favoritism, nor early warnings, our son few blindly into this, the Family Leave Act, saved his bacon more than once as he's had to take off work, stand what amounts to suicide watch and an earlier employer, now JDSU saved his job... Bu irresponsible spending, all sorts of schemes, cost us a ton years ago, since in her manic stages she thought she could rule the world, but to see the grandkids there was always a check involved... Shut the whole thing down for years, so we missed that set of grandkids in that time..

Now it's better understood, dealt with straight up, so we're still dippin' in the till, but less.. Kid needs braces, we cover, kid needs books, tutor, we cover, other grandparents barely get by, good people, but very low income, ex COBOL programmer, for Union Pacific, then IBM, now sells advertising in phony Yellow pages..

It's a roller coaster, for the moment doing better, but... And it's not like our investments are filling the coffers like they used to...

So far no divorce, one of the kids is the one with all the heart issues, eventual transplant... And as noted, we aren't the only family fighting the fight,,, At least, so far it's working...
