Hi weco,

Republicans realize they will never regain power unless they can woo Hispanics & women.

They are still processing the results of the election.
Remember, their hatred of Obama had them thinking they could run anyone & win. (just read PopeII)
Up until the end, they claimed the polls were wrong, they couldn't fathom Obama winning & thought they'd take the Senate too.

Any savvy politicians know they need a more socially liberal message, stay away from 'choice' & stop labeling people with disparaging labels.

They have their work cut out for them!

The Republicans have only toned down their rhetoric a smidgen.

The Republicans above all still wish to preserve the privledges of the plutocrats and oligarchs. they are as owned by the likes of the Koch brothers as McKinley was owned by J P Morgan.

The Republicans are out to preserve the favored tax status of the wealthy, while destroying social security, Medicare, and any social program aiding the poor. The party motto is the 'middle class be damned".

This supposed olive branch is BS.
