Hi CF, as I recall Pat Buchanan ran for President in 1992 as an isolationist and closing the Mexican boarder. We can't be isolationist but I hope we stay the heck out of this. We need a break from war. Pat was right about the boarder and may have been right in hindsight about isolationism. I can't comprehend how US intervention in the mid-east, other than diplomatic, can possibly end beneficially for us. BO has some starch but doubt he has much interest in more warfare. He has demonstrated much patience in the past, hope he continues restraint. Thx

this is what war is. avoid clicking if you don't want to see something as awful as there is in this world. for me, it's an obligation to view the intimate horror of events as they unfold. i think some folks who calculate the advantages of war forget its costs.
