GM Micro --

Yes, patience now will be a virtue. If you're still getting the odd 8018, that's a known beta unit and just proves your config is fine. The other one threw me a bit because it's unknown to me, but maybe it's a brand-new beta WU. Yes, a re-boot wouldn't hurt at all. My first monster unit took a week, you just have to hang in. Once you get one they start to flow. I honestly thought there was something I couldn't see in my setup that was barring me, and that oh well, I just wasn't going to get any, never mind one. You see what's happened since. In the back of my mind I could never quite figure out BAP getting them without asking for it when the rest of us are turning cartwheels and pirouettes trying for just one, please. It's occurred to me that his high-end card will be relatively rare still in the big scheme of things so once they identified it, they just kept on it because they needed that feedback for that class. That's my theory anyway, I'm just glad he's been getting all he has, it's major damage he's doing. Cool
You're all set up, now go enjoy the good things in life, setting up for the newest arrival sounds like a great distraction to me. Smile

GM fellow folders.

I changed the arguments to read "-betateam" only and removed all other arguments.

It seems this machine is doomed to get 8018, 8045 and I had one 8044 work unit, all of which required the 2.2 version of FAHCORE_15

What I have noticed is my points have dropped off.

I have yet to be given a high point beta work unit.

To say this is frustrating is kind of an understatement.

I really do not what else I can do at this time except just wait.

Does anyone think re-starting the computer AFTER wiping out a work unit would help?

The GOOD news, make that GREAT news, is that mrs. micro and I finished Christmas shopping for our newest little grandchild last night, whom I have the joy of seeing this Christmas at my house, Lord willing.

In fact, we are down to only needing to finish a couple things up and we are ready for that wonderful time of the year!

So at least important to me things are moving along.

Surgery is 4 weeks from tomorrow. That will be here sooner than later. While there are very grave risks involved, like losing the use of my right leg altogether or being in excruciating pain in that leg the remainder of my years here, the benefit will far and away exceed those risks, which I am told are minimal, but they CAN happen with one simle slip or snip or cut of a nerve, which the surgeon is working right up against to free them up.

Kinda scary in that respect. SO I hope I do not awaken to be in a wheelchair and need a scooter.

Well it is FRIDAY and the countdown begins to Christmas.

I am proud to be a member of this team and the people that are associated with it, DUIT and Tommy and Mark and BAP and Sun and ArVee.

These folks have stood the test of time for a common cause and goal. I am just honored to be a small part of such a great group of people.

My best to you all,

micro.....
Very Happy
