DS,

We have a friend whose husband is in the fast food business. He and another person negotiated with Denny's to put a franchisee location in Marion, Illinois where we live. They wanted two million dolars in guaratees to give them the location which caused the deal to fall through. Denny's is one of the few twenty four hour restaurants in operation nationally. The food is passable but we've had much better. The only southern Illinois location is in Carbondale and its been closed down for brief periods by the local health department from time to time. That location has been remodeled but the building and the store are almost forty years old!

Regards,

Joe
