What about this technique? I would rename the old file to *.xxe and drop in the new *.exe file into the same directory. That way it's right there and xxe can't be used. Then when you want to return to the xxe file, just reverse the process.

No, I think it's going to rename that to the same thing followed by a (1), isn't it? In that case Folding will still see the other one and use it. Just let it overwrite the one that's in there.
