Hearing stories, hearsay, but interesting, of friends of friends, totally invested in the republican world, party planning, gatherings, setting up what they could do next year, etc... then the hammer came down. Now we know it was the biggest loss since FDR, pretty complete rejection. Those friends of friends were devastated, they'd drank the KoolAid completely, are still in deep depression...
I had one couple, cousin, but we've considered them nieces/nephew for years.. Totally upset, on Facebook suddenly Big letters F*** at the final call, then DOUBLE F*** a minute later... Haven't seen or heard from them since, they, he's a Bio-Engineer, she's an HR Director, making big bux, degreed, dual BMW hot rods, all the toys of the young, making decent living... But they swallowed all the BS, her Dad a wild nutjob, left one job after another because of his crazy rantings, luckily in his aging years immobile, broke... But they are destroyed emotionally like the others...
hen there are the religious right wingers, they've shut down, silence, or gone off on la la la vacations, ignoring the results, but you know it knocked them all for a loop...
Will they learn? Gun sales are up again... What's that tell us?
Now, maybe the republicans will understand how democrats feel...
Many Americans believe republicans have been lying to us for a long time.
So, after being told/promised Romney would win in a landslide, they were shocked, shocked that Obama won handily!
The only 'swing state' Romney picked up, North Carolina.
Obama even won the popular vote!
Much like Romney's ad stating Jeeps would be sending the US jobs overseas. Romney continued to air the ad, Even after the CEO's of Chrysler & GM stated this was a LIE.
Republicans claim 'tax cuts' for the 'business creators' would work.
There is NO factual basis for their claim, yet they continue to make it.
Besides, tax rates are the lowest in about 30 years.
They live in a fantasy world, not grounded in math or science.
During the campaign they claimed 'we' were worse off since Obama took office.
The FACTS clearly prove they were lying.
Unemployment dropped, the auto industry & auto parts industry was saved, Bin Laden is dead, banking industry was saved, the stock market soared, Obamacare passed.
Yet, they continued to lie, trying to paint Obama as a failure & as the 'other',
Unamerican in their tone & smears.
Many republican's attempted to block voters, and in doing so caused Americans to rise up & vote, even if it meant waiting 8 hours to do so.
Many Super Pac's pumped millions into the system in their attempt to take down this President.
The good news for America, money wasn't the determining factor, TRUTH, MATH & SCIENCE won!
