Am I mistaken or does not the UK have a compulsory component to their electoral process, that they require voter registration ... not voting as in AUS, but one must do the registration thing. ?? I seem to recall notions of folks having to declare foreign national status at some point during the electoral cycle to waive their requirements. ??
