BAP, on the Precision X ?'s: I see it's EVGA gpu overclocking software. I know Micro was instrumental in the setup of your system(s) and I'm going to do the proper thing and defer to him since he'll know what he help you set up and I don't. Doesn't mean I can't help a bit though, while you're waiting for him, go here http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ and get this software, first thing he's likely to ask is whether or not the card is still overclocked. This will tell you that.

On the 8057's, no such thing as locked in. Now, there's been speculation over at the other place that the PG is using 8057 for extensive external testing and that once it finds machines it likes it would want to keep feeding them because conditions would stand a better chance of being constant. Doesn't mean that's what they're thinking, or that it was and they've changed their minds, or the server's out, or they've run out of WU's or the test is over or blahblahblah, you get the idea. I'm simply thankful for each one I/the team get/gets, it's one more than I was guaranteed and it's yet another one more than the zero I had two days ago.

They do appear to run in streaks and even repeat, and that's about all I know for sure on this. They're certainly nice though, in the dead of winter would have been even better to wake everybody up, but this is just fine. And that's what I know about that.

ArVee. A few issues.

1. Precision X IS in my startup but no longer starts automatically. It used to. Don't know why.

2. Even when I start it manually, it asks, "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to your computer?" I have to answer, "yes." Am using Windows XP 64 bit and am not familiar with it. Don't know how to turn that off.

3. Different subject. I got two 8057's today but not any more. I thought one was locked into it. Is that no longer in effect?
