Basically I believe affairs are between the couple.
We live much longer, so till death do us part takes on a heavier toll.

He is/was the head of the CIA, that changes things.
Besides, you're not allowed to have an adulterous relationship in the military. He's a four star general & probably would've earned a fifth before retiring.

Andrea Mitchell broke the news on MSNBC, she was visibly shaken, welled up. This was breathtaking news.

Apparently an investigation is in process. A woman is writing a book about him & they became very close.
I don't know if she is the other woman.

that certainly came out of the blue. He likely sat on it until after the election. It is a tough thing, the broad notion that affairs=resignation. I understand it, I don't know where I stand on it, I like probably anybody else know people who have variably been involved in it, although in no case did they quit their job because of it. Public trust is a different matter, I understand that, I'm just not sure what I think of it.
