Boehner and Ryan. Ryan chairs budget and now everybody knows his name. He will be well-reported with everything he says. He will seek to put himself in a strong position politically going forward. Boehner has always been a weak speaker IMO, others certainly know better than I, so it will be Boehner and Ryan. Screw Cantor.

It still will come down to the Senate minority leader. I would think there would be a change at that position if the party is able to recognize defeat. He is divisive, he is essentially serving in the wrong chamber given his rhetoric, and has no credibility as one who seeks solutions. He seeks only ideology.

How about Sen Coats for minority leader (fat chance).

Good morning Cactus Flower,

Now I'm wondering who the leader of the republican party is, Boehner?

Boehner has an opportunity, he can tell (Cantor, his brand) was toasted in the election & Cantor needs to herd the tea party to follow Boehner's lead.
Boehner is probably the most moderate to make a deal with, as long as he can get the cats to stay in line.

I certainly hope Obama holds tough, raise top tax rates.
