Morning Clo:

But we need a viable alternative. In defense of men, we have traditionally gone to work every day, been the breadwinners, picked up the check on dates, and did a few other useful things. If we are going to change this formula, let's make sure we are psychologically prepared to adapt. Empowering women while emasculating men may not be such a swell idea. Mens' psychs are very fragile.

During the 2012 campaign, Republicans kept circling back to the spot where government expansion threatens personal initiative: you didn’t build that; makers versus takers; the supposed dependency of the 47 percent. Again and again, Republicans argued that the vital essence of the country is threatened by overweening government.

These economic values played well in places with a lot of Protestant dissenters and their cultural heirs. They struck chords with people whose imaginations are inspired by the frontier experience.

Many are simply in denial.

The facts, most folks enjoying food stamps, live in these areas.
Many embrace guns, fantasize playing cowboys & Indians, and prefer women in the kitchen, barefoot with no options.

Thank goodness their breed is dying off, like their party of old ideas based on the best solely for the White Man...
