...once upon a time the company I worked for took an umpteen bazillion dollar write off for "the cost of implementing savings". Let me splain somethin about write offs. Nobody understands em. NOBODY! Everybody pretends they do. The big wigs all go into a meeting and probaly spin a wheel to come up with the numbers and then somebody says, "OK, Let's run this up the flagpoles and see if anyone salutes!. Then they come out and announce their "write off". No one wants to appear stoopid, so they all nod in agreement as if they were part of the "inside crowd" who actually understands such complicated issues. Anybody not nodding is a "dumbass".
