Okay. I took the desktop with the 460 video, deleted V6 and installed V7. Here is the download link:

http://folding.typepad.com/news/2011/03/client-version-7-now-in-open-beta.html

It is running Projects 8018 & 7808. Those are not the biggie, but the PPD says 26k-29k! I forgot to note what it was getting with V6, but this has got to be higher. So what do you think if you have an adequate video card to go to V7??? After this beta test is finished they might return to lower points. Don't know.

I am getting 8057's with the 680. But look at this:

http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&;t=22808&p=227309&hilit=8057+fermi#p227355

This guy is running 460's:

"I have all 5 of my GTX 460's continuously running these p8057's. No card has received anything else since I got the first one. They have all run smooth as silk with no errors at all.

As far as I can tell my secret sauce:

v7.2.9 client
v2.22 FAHCore_15.exe
GTX 460 (I suspect any fermi card)
client-type = beta

The only other settings I am using: next-unit-percentage = 100 and I have an extra core setting of -verbose (But I really do not believe either of these matters in getting a WU)"

Doesn't that mean that with V7.2.9 one can get lucky and get attached to the server dispensing 8057's?
