ha! this piece says exactly what i saw on fox news.

i think rove believes the us has a simple majority system rather than an electoral college; and that the polls done by everyone except rasmussen and gallup are inaccurate.

yes. we know that gallup and rasmussen report results frequently. we know they always lean republican. we know they are out of tune with all the other polling organisations. etc. but how about providing the list of polls rather than your partial summary, karl old chap.

Rasmussen NEW! 10/29 - 10/31 1,500 LV 49 47 3 Romney +2
Ipsos/Reuters (Web) 10/27 - 10/31 4,085 LV 46 47 4 Obama +1
JZ Analytics/Newsmax NEW! 10/28 - 10/30 1,015 LV 48 45 7 Romney +3
FOX NEW! 10/28 - 10/30 1,128 LV 46 46 6 -
ABC/Post NEW! 10/27 - 10/30 1,288 LV 49 49 1 -
YouGov/Economist 10/27 - 10/29 688 LV 47 48 1 Obama +1
PPP (D-Americans United for Change) 10/26 - 10/28 1,200 LV 49 48 3 Romney +1
Rasmussen 10/26 - 10/28 1,500 LV 49 47 - Romney +2
ARG 10/25 - 10/28 1,200 LV 48 48 3 -
CBS/Times 10/25 - 10/28 563 LV 47 48 3 Obama +1

all over the map. 3 os, 4 rs (less a rasmussen), 3 undecideds.

whereas the electoral college map is very clear. most of the swing states lean o. and if anything they lean more o as time passes.

i feel sorry for republicans as they are not being supplied with the actual figures. just fox's and rove's interpretation of them. and where necessary, quote rasmussen.

actually, to be fair to fox, their own polling is fine. it shows a tie. in terms of total turnout, too close to call. but the swing states swung. to o.

that when I was young I used to smoke pot. Or I could say, that I was hanging with a lot of Clintons who were smoking pot but not inhaling, and hence the air was well-filled with un-lung-filtered pot.

The only reason I bring this up is:
