hi dig,

these things happen. don't know much about that paper. but other than a single stand out in virginia, the polls look good to me.

silver has moved strongly towards o today. almost back to 300. in the absence of a debate, things are drifting blue in the swing states.

romney's strength, far as i can tell, is in the red states. maybe renegade republicans have decided to return to the fold. but he has those states in the bag already. if he is to win, he has to swing a bunch of polls in his favour. but he knows he hasn't the argument to do it with. hence the desperate invent-an-issue tactics at the last minute.

sandy was a disaster for the east coast. and for romney. is anyone listening to him anymore?

endorses Romney.

I have always said I think IA goes Red this time ... and it might be critical.

IN my travels in IA, basically everybody gets the Register ... in a land where people still get print newspapers. It is a real blow.

Sad face.

And, once again, I got through an entire post without saying fuck.
