You're referencing answers to different questions, BAP.

1) You had asked how to Add or Remove a slot. Changing to Expert allows the Add and Remove buttons to appear. That was when you were thinking of deleting the problem WU from its slot.

2) A version update will likely do good by just installing over the old one and doing what it needs to do by downloading a new core if it wants one in order to run the problem WU.

3) Wiping everything is likely not necessary.

We're doing a lot of talking here. Recommend you just get the latest release from the beta page and install it. If it doesn't work as hoped then we can take it from there. It will take all of 5 minutes, likely be just fine, and can not result in lower production than the current zero.

I certainly know about Sandy, hard to turn on the TV without hearing everybody's guess on landfall. Hopefully it's a big zero but all the best if it veers inland. We'll even feel it here on the better side of the Great Lakes. Razz

I lost ya ArVee. You said, "you don't have the software to process the beta WU 7623." Are you saying a Version update will do no good or it will? Fooling around with "Expert" at my outdated version 7 will do no good? Do you think if I wipe everything (after I figure out how to do that), I can proceed with a new install?

We are expecting a BIG storm tomorrow or Monday and I have to leave here soon.
