It really is bush league M3S. If anybody has the resources to have legal analysts on staff, it is Barclay's. They obviously do not know what is actually going on or choose to ignore it. Either or. They ignored what was told to them in the question that they specifically asked! Their application of their opinions are as valuable as those offered by the traders on the other message board.
Ignoring factual events which would materially and positively affect their price target shows to me that they have an agenda which is to keep the price low. It is beneficial to them. They won't be held accountable because if saving face were important to them they would use their resources and have a legal expert tell them what actually went on and how important the win at the CAFC was.
well, at least it sounds like they aren't using a university intern to ask questions on their call anymore ... they now have upgraded to a guy who doesn't know where the mute button on a phone is. It scares me to think that if this is the quality of analysis you can expect from Barclay's than what kind of garbage were we getting from them during the SA process.
