ArVee,

I have had a whale of a time with the GPU Tweak utility, myself.

I tried the 2D disable option, but am not too comfortable that it works. Reverting back to the regular settings allows me to select 2D or 3D, and I just keep it at 3D, but again - no idea if it is actually working or not.

Separate from that, I also can not get the thing to 'remember' that I have removed the ugly skin. Every time I restart, it is back. I also can not get the thing to load my profile automatically at start-up, and see NO settings to programatically set it to do so. Every time I restart, I have to deep six the skin, manually select the profile that holds the OC settings, and manually select the user defined fan control, the darned thing won't remember my settings and load them at start-up....

Other than that, it seems to work fine, lol.

My points are off too, BAP, for me it's mostly the mix I think although my two 465's and one 550 have been downclocking to 2D clocks quite regularly. The utility ASUS GpuTweak which others have reported as effective in maintaining 3D clocks does not work here. Micro/VGolf, anybody, any thoughts on that? Yours stopped downclocking altogether?
