Think of Kepler as the engine that drives your GPU. The old engines the rest of us are sitting with is called Fermi; Kepler is its successor and until today, F@H didn't have software to take advantage of it. There's going to be considerable upside to running it and I would encourage you to explore the link and follow the directions, it's pretty much just a matter of adding the -advmethods flag and the software will download what it needs automatically. Don't take it from me though, click the link and follow the instructions. The other option is to be cool and let others discover any bugs and report, I'm just glad it's out and wanted to flag it to everyone but especially you because I thought you had a Kepler which you do. Nothing wrong with sitting cool for a week or too either, BAP, just be aware it's now available.

FIRST though and either way, let's get the current snag fixed, you're folding half speed on that machine, as you alluded to. The cpu's running and the gpu's not unless the second one's moved off zero. Are you running Ver 7? Micro, do you know? If you're not, just d/l and install that (easy, way easier than 6) and it will likely fix itself. If you're already running it, try a reboot and if it's STILL doesn't work, trash 7623 from that slot. I think it might actually be running though and you just caught Ver 7 exactly at the point where it's finishing up a WU and has already started another, that would explain the 99%, 0% and 45& business.

As always, anybody else feel free to get in here. :-)

ArVee. The card is an EVGA 680, model 02G-P4-2682-KR. I'm afraid I don't know what a "Kepler" is. I am running it along with Precision X at 85% fan speed. Oh I just notice something. The PPD display shows 20k per day. It had been running 32k per day 3 weeks ago. And I noticed the two things running said 99 percent done and zero percent done. Something may be awry. So I'm restarting the cpu.

The restart shows project 7514 running 43 percent done (now 45 percent done). That's weird. And project 7623 running 7 hours to complete, 0 percent done. That could be what's wrong. 7623 isn't running. I have no idea why not.
