Hi J-T. First hand observation. By high school many kids that had always received free lunches feel entitled not appreciative. Ask the high school cafeteria workers in your district. They'll tell you. Although they like what they do, are proud to do it they don't like the abuse they have to tolerate from these entitled unappreciative kids. Free lunches are supposed to be confidential. By high school many are proud of it. Workers will tell you they hear things such as, "I don't want that crap, it's awful - I'm a free luncher, I'm entitled so give me that."

Where is your proof that children who grow up getting free meals to keep from starving feel like that when they are grown, they are entitled? In your world, it would look to me as if they are entitled to starve!

Joe
