Hi Clo,

Re: 1. You're not the first woman I've heard hypothesize that something dire was on Obama's mind during the first debate. Personally, I think he was under prepared and had a bad night.

Re: 2. The difference is I don't know a single woman, straight or gay, who would feel rewarded by 72 virgins. ;-)

Re: free floating thoughts (one of my own)...it occurred to me today that humans seem to judge seniors less severely than they would the same person younger. My gut tells me Obama would win handily if Romney were in his 40s.

While I was mowing/mulching the lawn several thoughts struck me.

1. The first debate, does Obama know something dire, (the likelihood of another recession) and he doesn't want to be blamed. After all, at this time his legacy proves his polices saved us from the great depression.
If he does win & the economy fails, he will have that as his legacy....

2. What's the difference in believing in life everlasting & 72 virgins?
Its heavenly thoughts regardless ;))
Its just a different reward system!

P.S. I am ambivalent wrt life after death.
I would prefer to be dead, period.
Let loved ones smile when they remember me, especially at election time! ;))
