"The entire GOP has had zero respect since day-one. They stated publicly when Obama became POTUS that their focus for the next four years was going to be to make him a one-term president. Not to reduce the deficit, create jobs, or generally govern. To get Obama out. And for four years that's exactly what they've been trying to do, regardless of the effect on the rest of the nation."

Worth repeating. When an entire party abdicates their responsibilities in order to win one political power struggle, they lose all credibility.
