Victory for Obama camp in Ohio early voting ruling

The Supreme Court on Tuesday handed the Obama campaign a key victory and denied an application from Ohio officials that would have allowed them to shut down polling on the weekend before the election.

The court also left in place a lower court ruling that found Ohio had to treat all voters the same and not give special voting privileges to military members, as the state had wanted to do in the final days before Nov. 6.
