whenever romney has got close, obama's numbers have always tracked upwards. i doubt this time will be much different. romney's bump is out of steam.

Gallup Romney (10/8-10/14) Romney +2 (49/47)

(again, not the flop-flop of gallup/rasm) and not on note, the longer tracking time of Gallup could have more "debate effect" still expressed, that is that Rasm no longer is tracking the immediate bounce up/down effect, and gallup still is)

folks that historically do a pretty good job, left by about a point;
