Yes, the lean to the right by CNN overall has been disappointing.. Wolf never pushes, they let a lot of things go unchallenged.. If FAUX is right, MSNBC Left, CBS a little more balanced, but CNN is off to the other side.. I've not paid any attention to ABC.. Jon Stewart puts it together! I think he tapes before tonite's event, tho... So maybe he'll do Friday again...

CNN got on their horse about Biden rolling his eyes, interrupting and laughing. David Gergen said that Biden won on substance while Ryan won on style and appearance. They said that Ryan passed the presidential appearance test. They were surprisaed at how much time was spent on foreign policy and how well prepared Ryan was on the subject. They said that while Biden clearly won the debate in 2008 against Palin, he only broke even here.

Their flash poll conducted immediatly afterward showed Ryan with 48% and Biden with 44%.

AS we have pointed out in the past, CNN tends to tilt toward Romney/Ryan when they get a chance. Their flash poll during the Obama/Romney debate featured more republicans than democrats and we imagine that they polled the same people this time around.

As far as we go personally, we wish that Biden had been a little less bosterous but, then, that is just Biden's natureal makeup and we wouldn't trade the rest of his performance for it. We thought he did a good job and bought Obama some time to get his act together for next tuesday's debate! We think that it did right the ship and reenergized the base to a big degree!

Now, on to New York and the sixteenth and the town hall debate!

Regards,

Joe
