Fla. Gov. Gives Out Phone Sex Number
Florida Gov. Rick Scott may have just earned himself a few new male voters. During a Tuesday cabinet meeting, Scott relayed what he thought was a toll-free number for the state’s meningitis hotline set up in the wake of a deadly outbreak that has killed 12 people so far. But, instead of connecting callers with the Florida Department of Health, the number lead to a phone sex operator who answered the call saying, “Hello boys. Thank you for calling me on my anniversary.” The governor gave out the correct number later in the meeting but several news organizations had already reported the wrong one.
