Great piece, Taibi is masterful & offers food for thought.

"The campaign should start and finish in six weeks"

I disagree.
It takes more than 6 weeks to learn how a candidate responds under pressure & to flush out their short comings.
Look how long it took before the 47% video surfaced.

Two years is too long, but 6 months might be fair.
And if free tv was available that would certainly take obscene amounts of 'money' out of the equation.
