a republican who would argue assuredly from a factual base. or at least a conservative. there's a lot to be said for burke and his pragmatic gradualism. libertarians at least have a consistent philosophy and i am curious about the things they believe support their views. just spare me the limbaugh crowd, who wear the label but have nothing to do with the right's traditional world of ideas. it is a shame that bigotry and aggressive ignorance has such a hold on the right. it is better for the us if it offers a coherent choice.
