it's like the civil rights movement never happened for some people.

rosa parks better not sit down because if a businessman wants no coloureds, well she has to accept it.

hey, that's freedom. can't stop a business guy doing what he wants.

what else? women must enjoy no protections under the law. a woman's right to medical treatment must genuflect to some bishop's prejudice.

why? freedom, that's why. i'm free to stop you having the rights and protections that belong to you in morality and law.

er, no.

apparently some folks think freedom excludes the possibility of choosing protection for some classes of folks against the devices of other classes. society isn't FREE to make these sorts of choices.

'Cept it is.

i guess when you see some idea that is repellant, one just wants to call it what it is.

oh yes. of course. businesses are allowed to discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, religion, sex etc.
