Hi Joe,

can't imagine what it feels like to be locked inside the covers of a book like those folks. if it makes them happy, i guess i'm okay with it. so long as it doesn't get into the educational/political layer. which of course is the aim.

CF,

Does anyone think that if the book of Genesis had been written as a theory of evolution that any of those primitive people back over three thousand years ago could have begun to have comprehended it? Back in the ninteen fifties when so much of this began to come up, many of the people of faith accepted it graciously because they knew that the Bible was a symbolic work subject to much interpretation. Now, whomever came up with the idea that counting all of the begats would form the foundation of a six thousand year old earth, should simply be shot for all the damage and division that they have brought between people of faith and those who will not believe because of all of the stupidity that is coursing about!!!!!

For me personally, finding out that there are one trillion galaxies and a number of planets that I cannot even comprehend simply creates a larger and larger diety that I also really cannot begin to comprehend. I feel today about like those people that Genisis was written for so many years ago but the one thing that I will not do is to deny its existence simply because of the lack of comprehension.

Believing in God is an article of faith and love and the more we discover the greater the faith and love becomes!

IOVHO,

Regards,

Joe
