is the perfect analogy. Romney really messed up because it really is demonstrative of the difference between the haves and the have nots, the middle and the right. This will cost him big time. This was a Dan Quail mistake - likely worse. Was it an ad lib or planned to pander to his base? Either way it was misconceived and will prove extremely harmful, if not detrimental, to his winning.
