some pundits think the debate is everything. as if we don't know the obama and romney of the day before and all of their eggs were in that basket.
but we know romney well. and his policy etch a sketch and the misstatements of facts on the debate floor were confirmation of everything we already knew. this guy is an untrustworthy opportunist who says whatever his latest audience wishes to hear.
whereas obama killed bin laden. i don't think the debate will colour many people's view of the president. they like him or not based on four years. not one evening. hey, he had a bad debate. so what. i've seen him have good ones. i think romney made the mistake of waking him up.
