Dig, when I alluded to Def Rev and Goodwill I was suggesting a similarity to the royalty liability. Def rev is a liability until the job is completed (cash in the bank prior to performance). Goodwill is simply an accounting "wink" to attribute value to some perceived asset to balance books. I appreciated your educating me and setting me straight as I was not familiar w/ that type of transaction. I appropriately give you approbation - very ok.
