hi tkc,

i think he attacked the wrong bird. i'd pursue him relentlessly as anti-sesame-street!! what a scrooge. that is like being anti-mother's milk or anti-the-innocence-of-childhood. no one is against sesame street. especially no one is against big bird. one sad look from that beak in the second debate and romney is history.

big bird is bigger than you. that's why they don't call you big romney. you're just plain mitt.

when they write the history books, they will say this was when his campaign finally cooked its goose. or chicken, maybe.

It was a play to his base, not to balance the budget.
http://www.pbs.org/funding "Public television is America’s largest classroom, the nation’s largest stage for the arts and a trusted window to the world – all at the cost of about $1 per person per year. The proposed legislation overlooks the critical value that PBS’ nearly 360 member stations provide to major cities and small towns." $300+M in taxpayer money for PBS is a steal! All the arts and preparing preschoolers for education. What a frigging joke. Yes NPR and PBS lean leaf and the "right" hates them but to cloak cutting it's federal funding as a budget saver is just plan dishonest. Unquestionably it would cost much much more in local school taxes the long run. I hope someone takes Romney on about this bloviation.
