I thought it made good sense, actually.
My own efforts explaining accounting stuff always seem to leave people none the wiser, so I think maybe writing things a different way to me is probably the thing to do!
what one is faced with is a biologist making stuff up (or more honestly pretending to be a quick study, or maybe actually being a quick study in a crude sense) ....
