You have to listen to this presentation/Q&A done by Steve Jobs nearly 30 years ago and hear what he said about how computers were going to evolve and how people and society was going to change relative to how they will use computers and the impact that computers were going to have on the world. It's absolutely amazing. It's almost as if he had used a 'time machine' to travel 25 years into the future and then returned to 1983 and tried to tell people what he had seen. And you have to remember that everything he said was BEFORE the world had ever heard of the MAC. He talked about almost everything we now take for granted, such as the iPhone, iPads, WiFi, 3G/4G networks, the Internet, AP stores, Wikipedia, video games, etc. It's amazing. And if nothing else, you will come away knowing that virtually everything that Apple has done in those last 30 years was most certainly the result of what he was putting together in his mind.
The audio file is about 54 minutes long, but it's well worth the time to listen.
