Games reverted to form with regular referees back. OCU's Lions belly-flopped again, as did Clo's Jets. Weco's 49ers, Joe's Bears, and KTC's Patriots were looking good.

Cardinals -1 1/2 at RAMS ***** (Thursday)

This game could end up in a 3-3 tie. Under 39 looks like it could be the lock of the the year, but we're not doing over/unders here. Rams haven't scored an offensive touchdown in two weeks, while Cardinals QB, Kevin Kolb, got sacked eight times last week.

Falcons -3 at REDSKINS ***

4-0 Atlanta too strong for injury-plagued Washington who are giving up 30 points a game. Atlanta has won by an average of 12 points per game this year.

STEELERS -3 1/2 vs Eagles *

About time for 1-2 Pittsburgh to resume their position as AFC contenders. They are expected to get three starters back from injury; RB Rashad Mendenhall, LB James Harrison, and SS Troy Polamalu. Eagles QB, Mike Vick, avoided turnovers last week to snatch a win from the Giants. Probably won't do it again.

Dolphins +3 1/2 at BENGALS *

Just a hunch that Miami is better than they've looked. Ryan Tannehill starting to look like an NFL quarterback, and Miami defense keeps things close.

Another lovely week of pathetic officiating. I wonder how many weeks it will take to straighten out NFL football even after the regular refs return. Goodell better fine himself and the owners for actions detrimental to the game.

Browns +12 1/2 at RAVENS **

Baltimore coming off a short week (Sunday night to Thursday) after an emotional win over the Patriots due to an official's misinterpretation of what an over-the-uprights field goal is.

Redskins +3 at BUCCANEERS ***

Redskins lost two defensive stars to injury two weeks ago, but Tampa looks too dull to take advantage. Go with RGIII to score enough to cover. Tampa ran up 166 yards of total offense last week.

Giants +2 at EAGLES *****

Confident and potent Giants versus error-prone and harried Mike Vick. Should be an easy win unless Philadelphia suddenly awakes.
