Hi Alea.......

You separate State hatred from religious hatred when there
is none.......The only difference between Obama or Bush &
some CIA sponsored "nutter" like Osama is your high priests
kill in the millions while he killed a few thousand....Osama
sent planes into buildings while Obama sends Drones....both
have killed innocent men,women & children.....but somehow
your belief & your programming means you hold one a hero
while the other an extremist nutter.

Guess what.......the other side doesn't see it any different
than you do....but from their side,as to who is the infidel
& who is the hero............like i said both are psycho nut
cases.

You believe in the State over religion but both have
caused the majority of human suffering & deaths....
What's the difference.....killing innocents for Oil,the dollar,
or for Allah?

Religion is used to divide,control & kill humans.....that's it's
sole purpose.....like the State.

so you agree re the imams! cool.

i see you make a further point with respect to elected representatives that we don't entirely agree about. but at least you are not using an equivalence/hypocrisy argument to justify islamic fundamentalism. like me, you think it is bad stuff. i think.

it's a pretty cheap defence to try to justify violence using violence. the hindus learnt this through folks like gandhi. americans learnt it (at least for internal consumption) from martin luther king. so who will do this for islam?

same time, you are not the only one who thinks there are more creative ways than killing people for the us to affect long run outcomes in the islamic world. but the birth of democracy in the east is no guarantee of peace in the short run. clearly there's a lot of pent-up anger to be released.

religion ought to be the vehicle not for anger but for understanding and for peace. seems to me that them thar pulpits are not being used that way in some locales. this is a problem in need of a solution.
