i am not sure even they are that crazy. though they are headed that way.
i think it is saudi money myself. all the more reason to develop alternative energy.
in obama's shoes, using reverse psychology, i would say something like this: i am determined not to use alternative energy; it doesn't protect against global warming; it is tremendously polluting; i like to maintain relationships with muslims and their leaders; the use of oil in our economy is the right solution; it enriches places like saudi; their oil is cheaper than ours and always will be; go exxon; my middle name is hussein.
