hi dig,

and actually, i am not sure what qualifies a person to be president.

being rich qualifies a republican.

but i am hoping for a person with a moral, effective and inclusive underlying philosophy, who will also make good judgements under pressure where there is only partial information.

obama is good at this as i guessed he would be from reading his book, the audacity of hope.

is romney also that guy? i think his campaign tells the tale and provides my answer. the sagacity of nope.

I'm not trying to kick duke around, just disputing the method of setting policy aside. The qualifications points are sound enough, although it seems the direct translatability of the resume may be debatable, generally, skilled people do well, even in new water.
