My thinking is the only thing a bigGov executive does (or certainly mostly so) is policy. The don't write laws, digs ditches, write regulations, enforce laws, fight wars, raise capital, distribute capital, hire and fire pretty much anybody two steps below cabinet, or any of those things.
They do policy, and appoint people to make it so.
So, I can't do the "Forget for a second his policy ..."
I completely disagree. He is the first candidate from either party that we have had in a while that is truly qualified. Forget for a second his policy; he has been successful in both private and public leadership roles.
Barak is a presidential speaker, but did not have the qualifications as a candidate that the American people should expect. Neither did McCain. Both appear to be wonderful Americans, but that does not qualify you for president. I had more to say, but time ticks…if there is such a thing.
