low number relative to taxes on human beings, one way or another. i think that is because companies with big profits find ways to make them disappear into low-to-zero tax jurisdictions.
it's much easier and cheaper to create and hide a corporate 'person' than a human being. so i'd look at taxing dividends rather than companies.
my assumption is that companies would likely distribute a bunch of the income it saves on ct.
