PS - Having my engineering degree from said "less prestigious" school, I found myself employed alongside arrogant engineers from places like Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Purdue, Carnegie Mellon, and many others.

I can't tell you how many times I heard demeaning comments about my lesser (and much cheaper) school.

I'd usually just smile and say something like "and yet, here we sit side by side working the same job for the same company for the same pay."
