I understand that, but I am more of a geography based ideaologue.
Eastern Washington is Idaho, not Washington, and so on.
So, what happens when you cross the Ohio River that affords such as massive change in ideology?
I guess the east is nuzzled up to that mountain/Appalachia/coal region, same for TN I presume .. but I still don't get it.
Again, I have no real rust belt familiarity so I will likely never get what makes them tick, but KY is just across the river from OH. Weird.
