stock needs to be bought to satisfy the S&P 400 index crowd....looks to me like idc will be weighted @ 1/10 of 1% of the index....there are many funds AND ETF'S that invest in the s$p 400...for example the etf MDY...has a mkt cap of 10byn...that means they will need to purchase 10myn dollars of idcc approx 300 thousand shares...and thats just this one etf....my guess is the number of shares that needs to be purchased is somewhere between 3 and 5 myn....not an insignificant amount for a tightly wound 40myn share float!!!!
