My "boomer" significant other will receive medicare shortly, so many others a smidgen older are now on it. Add to that the causation of an inherited gruesome economy increasing food stamp qualifiers and veterans from two unbudgeted wars requiring federal assistance. That's the President's fault? That's the premise of mitten's argument - 47%. No way that increase can be laid on the current administration. I'm a little perplexed that the Obama campaign hasn't jumped to confront the contender's inference.
